Every role is classified by language requirement — business-level Japanese, JLPT level — never by nationality. Your consultants are Japanese-English bilinguals.

I founded JointHire in Singapore in 2017, as a spinout from Recruit Holdings' new-business program. Our mission has stayed the same ever since: to bring real innovation to recruitment by fusing technology with experienced consultants.
Japan Desk is that mission applied to a specific, stubborn problem: Japanese-language skills are only valued correctly when they reach an employer who can read them. By covering Singapore and Malaysia from one desk, we make that meeting happen by design — not by luck.
What we handle isn't data — it's individual careers and individual hiring decisions. Our promise is to meet every one of them with the honesty and care of professionals who know both markets.
