Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1–N2) required (Licensing negotiations with Japanese-speaking associates, and contract documentation produced in both Japanese and English.)

Salary: SGD 3,300 – 3,800 / month
Acquire intellectual property rights from external companies to collaborate with a Japanese entertainment company's own game titles, working from central Singapore. You will source partners, negotiate licence agreements, royalties and minimum guarantees, and manage licensing documentation and rights records in both Japanese and English. Start times are flexible between 8:30am and 10:00am, with AWS and a performance bonus.
Responsibilities
- Acquire IP rights from external companies for game collaborations
- Source and identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate and execute new and renewal licence agreements
- Negotiate royalties and minimum guarantees
- Manage licensing documents and rights records in Japanese and English
- Support the approval process for licensed products and marketing materials
Requirements
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (no work pass sponsorship)
- Business-level Japanese and English, written and spoken (JLPT N1 preferred)
- Diploma or professional degree in any field
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Basic knowledge of games and/or anime
- Open to occasional weekend or public holiday work and overseas travel
