Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1–N2) required (Over 90% of the client base is Japanese-affiliated, and client communication, internal reporting and head office liaison are all conducted in Japanese.)
Japanese warehousing and forwarding company · Singapore (South-West)
Salary: SGD 4,000 – 5,000 / month
Manage and grow relationships with existing Japanese-affiliated corporate clients at a Japanese warehousing and forwarding company in the south-west of Singapore. You will prepare quotations, proposals and tailored logistics solutions, prioritise the client portfolio, and liaise with the Japanese head office and group companies. The role is based across two offices, with roughly 80% of time at the main site and 20% at the second, and includes AWS and paid overtime.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing Japanese-affiliated corporate accounts
- Prepare quotations, proposals and tailored logistics solutions
- Prioritise the client portfolio to maximise opportunities
- Coordinate with the sales managers and operations teams
- Liaise with the Japanese head office and group companies
- Support contract documentation, credit management and customer master data
Requirements
- Japanese at JLPT N1 level or equivalent
- Business-level English
- Experience in B2B sales, account management or client-facing commercial roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills
- Willing to work across two office locations
